Now the Real Fun begins!
After doing a little wedding dieting to fit into my dress, I realized that it had been WEEKS since I’d had a good dessert! Thankfully, the team at Dallas Affaires Cake Co. was ready and waiting to kick me off into the “cheat day” to rival all others.
Greeted by the personable Cassandra, cake decorator extraordinaire, I was treated to a delicious day of desserts (and even had a bit to take home!)
Now, everyone knows that a good recommendation goes a LONG way when it comes to selecting something as important as a wedding cake. Everyone is going to eat it, it will be on display, you’ll take a ton of photos around it, and it’s like having your very own piece of custom art! Thankfully, my maid of honor, Adrian, had only wonderful things to say about Dallas Affaires Cake Co. after they did her wedding cake years ago.
The team at Dallas Affaires Cake Co. was warm, pleasant, and really helpful in making my vision become a reality. All I had was a rough sketch and a few pictures, and I’m already confident that our wedding cake is going to be wonderful!
So Many Options
From 2 basics: chocolate cake + white cake, I was offered several custom icings and toppings to combine and compare to create my very special wedding cake. Strawberries, chocolate ganache, champagne & chambord frosting… I was certainly in my Happy Place.
What I loved about this cake tasting appointment was that it was perfect for a party of 2! Since my soon-to-be-hubby was stuck at work, I was able to bring my girlfriend and MOH (maid of honor) for a little girls’ date! The Dallas Affaires team hadn’t forgotten about Blake, though…
